As the ripples from the Global Street Parties extend across the globe, it's time for us in London to reconnect to the local.

The 60's slogan "think global , act local" is no longer sufficient as a guiding maxim; the challenge and paradox for us now, is to develop ways of acting and thinking both globally and locally at the same time.

What use is a global action 
if we are not empowering 
our own communities ?

What use is a local action 
if it is not connected to the ravages
of corporate globalisation ?
