Berlin Street Party, Sunday 27 September 1998

Sunday is germany's national election day and it is possible Herr Helmuth Kohl will lose his majority to the Social Democrats of the SPD.

Many people do not expect that party to really improve matters in germany - they do expect it will just go on sending nuclear transports around germany, throwing refugees out, reinforcing neoliberal policies like MAI etc. Especially, many east-germans do not trust politics anymore.

So this party, the next RTS in Berlin, will have another political theme:

  • Resistance has no vote!
  • No cars
  • No cops

You can travel cheaply in germany on a weekend ticket:
35 Marks takes two people anywhere in the country
(ticket not accepted on faster or shinier trains, TEE, Thalis, etc.)
